    Rafal Olbinski Edition T-Shirt Black

    This Rafal Olbinski Edition T-Shirt is part of the SS21 collection of MISBHV. The artwork on the t-shirt is called "The Origin Of Meaning II” and dates back to the early 2000s. The painting was originally conceived as artwork for King Oedipus, an opera composed by Stravinsky (1882 - 1971) based on the Greek tragedy of Sophocles.     

    Rafał Olbiński is one of the most celebrated artists among the famous Polish School of Posters - a painter, graphic designer, poster artist and lecturer of New York School of Visual Arts. Author for Metropolitan Opera and the New York Times with his works shown next to artists such as Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Keith Haring and Roy Lichtenstein. In 2012 decorated with Order of Polonia Restituta for his contribution to Polish and international culture.

    It is produced in a short sleeve cotton jersey t-shirt with rib-knit crewneck collar, multicolor print at front and back & tonal stitching.
