This Rafal Olbinski Edition Hoodie is part of the SS21 collection of MISBHV. The artwork on the hoodie is called "The Origin Of Meaning II” and dates back to the early 2000s. The painting was originally conceived as artwork for King Oedipus, an opera composed by Stravinsky (1882 - 1971) based on the Greek tragedy of Sophocles. Rafał Olbiński is one of the most celebrated artists among the famous Polish School of Posters - a painter, graphic designer, poster artist and lecturer of New York School of Visual Arts. Author for Metropolitan Opera and the New York Times with his works shown next to artists such as Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Keith Haring and Roy Lichtenstein. In 2012 decorated with Order of Polonia Restituta for his contribution to Polish and international culture.It is produced in a long sleeve French terry hoodie with a front and back graphic print, elasticized cuffs and waist & visible raw stitching.
