ECCO was founded in 1963 by Birte and Karl Toosbuy in Denmark. Since ECCO started its first production facility in 1963, ECCO has expanded steadily. Today, ECCO factories are operated in 6 locations across the globe, delivering millions of premium quality shoes. They also owns and operates their own leather tanneries.
